What was your first car?

Well, as a non-driver, I haven't had one yet, but Graham's first car is worth mentioning.

It was a *drum roll* Reliant Robin! But only because he only had a motorbike license (bike at the time - Moto Guzzi California) and you could drive a plastic pig with one of those!

After he passed a full test he got a BMW. It was ten years old but still a BMW! And then a string of "posh" bangers - Alfa Romeo, Mercedes to name a couple. Basically a stream of cars where the spare parts cost more than the initial outlay!

My favourite banger was a 25 yr old Morris Ital, which cost us twenty quid only ten years ago. It lasted a whole year!

I'd like to think that you mean well with this advice but do consider at least two other options:

1. Maybe a prolonged stint in prison would be a move in the right direction.. free education, free daily visits to the gym, free meals, free health care, no rent to pay and the rumours have it that not only can you play violent video games to your heart's content but that now Microsoft's latest Flight Simulator has been introduced to any half decent prison complete with the latest flight controls, pedals, ie all the hardware you wouldn't even be able to fit into your office. To top it up, payware add-ons galore (free of charge of course) 24 hour multiplayer sessions etc. etc. Oh, and if you still find time to read for leisure, the most comprehensive library in the county is just two flights of stairs away. Yummy
2. Imagine for a moment that this ship might have already sailed...

First car was a 1985 Cadillac Cimarron.

1985 Mercury Grand Marquis with 150,000+ miles. It had power everything....at one time. By the time I got it, the windows didn't go down, the power door locks didn't work, and on a good day it might crank. hehehe
